Text Box: Sunday Scripture

The command of love calls us to be responsible for one another. The Church is a community of faith and reconciliation. Jesus did not come to exclude some, but to share with all people the reality of God's love and mercy. Jesus encouraged honesty and reconciliation to build up and strengthen the community of faith. Ezekiel describes himself as the watchman entrusted with the task of looking out for God's people and preaching God's word. Saint Paul reminds the Romans that all the commandments are underpinned by the great commandment to love. Jesus challenges his disciples not to hide their disagreements but to seek reconciliation.

This week’s second collection will be for Building Fund. Last week’s second collection for the St. Vincent de Paul Society totaled $1,040.00. Next week’s second collection will be for the Priest Retirement Fund.
