94th ANNIVERSARY OF THE APPARITION OF OUR LADY AT FATIMA; 1917—2011
Every year from May to October in many Catholic Parishes around the world Catholic faithful celebrate the anniversary of the apparition of Our Lady to three Portuguese children: Francisco, Jacinta and Lucia. We celebrate Fatima Services in our Church every month with Holy Mass, the Rosary in different languages, and a candlelight procession with statue of Our Lady inside the church.
The Fatima Service will be on Thursday October 13th, 2011 at 7:30PM. Please save this date and inform others. If you have questions; please call Fr Stan (510-482-0596)

33rd ANNIVERSARY OF ELECTION OF JOHN PAUL II
Next Sunday, October 16, we will celebrate 33 anniversary of the election of Karol Cardinal Wojtyla pope. Let us pray for his Canonization.

Text Box: Sunday Scripture

God invites everyone into His Kingdom. What is our response? All are invited to be part of God's Kingdom, but materialism and self-concern can, in effect, relegate God's invitation to the junk mail pile. Those who accept the invitation are those who follow Jesus in both word and deed. Send in your RSVP today; accept God's invitation to follow Jesus and to receive a seat at the heavenly banquet.
Today's first reading speaks of God preparing a great feast for His people and wiping away their tears. In the second reading, Paul claims he can do all things with God as his strength. In the Gospel, Jesus tells a parable about a king whose invited guests refuse to come to his feast. He then opens the feast to others.

Text Box: This week’s second collection will be for the Bishop’s Appeal. Last week’s second collection for the Building Fund totaled $ 789.00. Next week’s 2nd collection will be for the World Mission Appeal. THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT OF OUR PARISH. MAY GOD REWARD YOUR GENEROSITY.
