Tsunami & Hurricane victims $ 286.00. This week, the 2nd collection is for the Parish Development Fund. Next week, the 2nd collection will be for the Building Fund. THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT. Text Box: FIRST THURSDAY, FRIDAY & SATURDAY Next week we will celebrate – First Thursday - November 5 - a day of special prayer for our priests, religious & seminarians. After 6.00PM Holy Mass, we expose the Blessed Sacrament and we celebrate THE HOLY HOUR. First Friday - November 6th. After the Holy Masses, we expose the Blessed Sacrament and recite the Litany to the Sacred Heart, followed by Benediction. An extra Mass for home schooling children & their parents will be at 9.30AM. Other Parishioners are also welcome to come and to pray with us if you have time. First Saturday - November 7th. After 8.00AM Mass, there will be Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament and the Litany to the Blessed Virgin Mary will be recited. FEAST OF ALL SAINTS, SUNDAY, NOV. 1 Mark your calendars for the 16th annual party to celebrate All Saints. We will begin the party after the last Mass with a procession from the church courtyard to the hall as we recite the Litany of the Saints Everyone come dressed up as your favorite saint for our traditional· “Can you guess my saint?” game. Remember to keep your saint a secret! There will be prizes for the best costumes. We will have a pot-luck dinner and saint related game booths with prizes. Today we are reminded that salvation is a gift from God, given out of love. It is this love that Jeremiah speaks of as he tells Israel they will be led home from their exile. It is also this love, given through the sacrifice of Jesus, that provides for our salvation and enables us to walk in the light of faith. Today's first reading speaks of God as the Father of Israel, reuniting them and leading them back from the ends of the earth. The second reading acknowledges that the Father sent Jesus as our high priest. His sacrifice took away our sin. n the Gospel, Jesus cures Bartimaeus, a man who was blind, telling him his faith had saved him.
