ST. ANNE’S GUILD CORNER
        The Third Annual Feast of St. Margaret Mary, Boeuf a la BBQ & Potluckscheduled for today: Sunday, October 17 at 3pm. may be purchased after all Masses, October 3 and 10 for $20 per family and $10 per single ticket. 
If your name begins with A-P, please bring a side dish or salad, and last names beginning with O-Z please bring a dessert.

       During the month of October in all parishes in the United States we have a counting of all participants by ushers.
       Bishops use these numbers of diocesan statistics  to report to the Holy Father during their visit Ad Limina.

         	Pray always. Prayer helps us live in greater unity with God. Prayer helps deepen our awareness of God's presence, power and love. Prayer is our response to God, acknowledging dependence, gratitude and praise. Through prayer, we can grow in our understanding of our faith, receive strength to overcome evil, and be guided on the path of salvation.

	In today's first reading, Moses holds high the staff of God as Joshua triumphs over Malek's army. In the second reading, Scripture is identified as a major source for learning to live righteously and to walk in the ways of the Lord. Today's Gospel includes the parable of the relentless widow, who is taken care of
