Text Box: Who died that we would have these many benefits? Who has been especially good to us? Have we, or how have we, said thanks? The Old Testament recommends spending not only a day for celebrating thanksgiving but 7 weeks each year. Jesus asks us not only to be thankful but to express our thanks. Could we transform this annual holiday into a personal holyday?

In our church on November 27th we will celebrate three Holy Masses: 8.00 & 10.30AM, and 12.00 NOON - Traditional Holy Mass. After the all Holy Masses, bread and wine will be blessed for the Thanksgiving Table. Please bring bread and wine to these Holy Masses (or if you don’t drink wine, only bread and some juice) to be blessed. During all Holy Masses, a collection will be taken up to help poor and needy people. In the vestibule of the church, there are barrels designated for canned and imperishable foods to share with poor families. Please support this project!!!

WORK OF MERCY POSSIBILITY
A parishioner is in need of financial help to pay for a necessary medical treatment which can save his life - God willing. This parishioner has no means to pay for this treatment as he is currently Text Box: unemployed and have no medical insurance. The cost of the treatment is about $ 4,000 plus costs of medicine. If you would like to contribute funds for this cause, please send your check to the rectory made out to St. Margaret Mary with the memo “medical treatment” written on the check. You can place it in the collection basket, if you would like. May God reward your generosity!
Our Lord Jesus said: “For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, a stranger and you welcomed me, naked and you clothed me, ill and you cared for me, in prison and you visited me.” Matthew 25:35-36.
Thank you very much for your generosity and for your prompt answer; and may the Blessed Virgin Mary of Lourdes keep you under her protection.
