Text Box: Sunday Scripture

It is not about how much we have, but about our willingness to share what we have.
There is no escaping the reality that if we believe in Christ, then we have the tools to make a positive difference in the lives we encounter in our daily routine.
Elijah and Jesus both witness the faith of widows in today's readings. From the Letter to the Hebrews we are reminded that Christ died once for all and at the time of final judgment will bring salvation to all who eagerly await his coming. The Gospel's widow contributes all she has.

Text Box: This week’s second collection will be for the Bishops’ Appeal.
