Text Box: Sunday Scripture:

Let us walk with Jesus and learn all that God has done for us. Jesus redeemed the world, but on the road to Emmaus, he took the time to explain how that redemption applied to two individual disciples. Each of us, in some ways, is to be on the road to Emmaus. Each of us needs to walk with Jesus and learn from him how he fulfills all that God has planned for us. In today's first reading, Peter explains that Jesus has fulfilled David's prophecy regarding his rising from the dead. The second reading speaks of Christ's blood as the means of our redemption. In the Gospel, Jesus appears to two disciples on the road to Emmaus. They recognize him only as he says the blessing and breaks bread with them.

This week’s second collection will be for the Building Fund. Last week’s second collection for the  Dioc Ins & Assessment totaled $ 1,135. Next week’s second collection will be for the Bishop’s Appeal.

 THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!

MAY GOD REWARD YOUR GENEROSITY.
