Text Box: Sunday Scripture:

We are all called to holiness. Sanctify Christ as Lord in your hearts, we read in the second reading. If you love me, you will keep my commandments, exhorts Jesus in the Gospel. The call to holiness echoes all around us in the readings today. Jesus tells us that we are not alone and promises the Holy Spirit will help us. In today's first reading, Philip is preaching and healing in Samaria. In the second reading Peter instructs us to make Christ Lord in our hearts, to make defense of our faith gently, and to be righteous. In the Gospel, Jesus tells us to love him by keeping his commandments and promises the coming of the Holy Spirit.

This week’s second collection will be for Diocesan Assessments and Liability Insurance.  Last weeks collection for Catholic Charities totaled $899.00. Next week’s second collection will be for Diocesan Assessment and Liability Insurance.

 THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!

MAY GOD REWARD YOUR GENEROSITY.
