After the Mass, we will host a reception for these children. All parishioners and friends of St. Margaret Mary Church are invited, and encouraged to attend to show support for these children and their families. OUR CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL THE CHILDREN AND TO THEIR PARENTS. Text Box: Sunday Scripture We are called to love one another. We hear in the Gospel that the Jewish believers accompanying Peter are shocked when the Spirit comes upon the Gentiles. Love and inclusion are clearly to be part of this new Church established by Jesus. Whoever fears God and acts uprightly is acceptable to him. Who are we to act differently? We continue to hear of the growth in the early Church as Gentiles come to believe. Tensions arise between Jewish and Gentile believers. In our second reading, John reminds us that we are to love one another. In the Gospel, Jesus challenges his followers to love the way he loves.
