Text Box: Sunday Scripture

Those who abide in love abide in God. God revealed Himself most fully to humankind by sending His Son Jesus to become one of us. In particular, Jesus revealed to us that the way we can remain in God's love is by loving one another. So that we may come to share in the fullness of life and love in heaven, let us not tire of loving one another.
The reading from Acts reminds us that God offers salvation to all people through faith in Jesus Christ. The second reading teaches that, Whoever is without love does not know God, for God is love. In the Gospel, Jesus teaches that we remain in His love by loving one another as He has loved us.
