Text Box: Sunday Scripture:

Hearing the voice of Christ. This season asks us to appreciate the presence of Christ in the Sacraments of Initiation, to suffer for the sake of the One who suffered for us, and to heed the voice of the One who calls us to greener pastures. Peter addressed the crowds gathered for the Pentecost celebration in Jerusalem. Emboldened by the Holy Spirit, Peter proclaims that the One who was crucified was the One whom God had sent. In the Gospel, Jesus reminds us that he is the gate through whom we should pass to have abundant life and the only voice that we should heed.

This week’s second collection will be for the Bishop’s Appeal.
