Sunday Scripture Listening to Jesus should move us to make changes in our lives. Are we listening to Jesus? The Father told us so clearly that this is what we are to do. We are to listen to all that Jesus taught and then live according to those teachings. If we are listening, how are we responding? Will this Lenten season make a difference in that response? God tested Abraham's faith, asking him to sacrifice his only beloved son. Abraham did not hesitate, so great was his faith. In Romans we are reminded that God did not spare his own Son, but sent him as our perfect sacrifice. In the Gospel, a voice from a cloud - message from God the Father - proclaims: “This is my beloved Son. Listen to him”. |
