Text Box: Sunday Scripture

God is rich in mercy and love. Throughout salvation history, God has shown, again and again, His love for humanity. He did this most clearly and fully, however, by sending His only begotten Son to redeem us. Let us rejoice and give praise to our God.
In today's first reading, the Israelites' lack of faithfulness results in their enemies destroying Jerusalem and exiling the people to Babylon. Eventually, though, God raises up a king to liberate them. The second reading teaches that God's grace saves us. The Gospel tells that God sent His only Son to redeem and save all who believe.

Text Box: This week’s second collection will be for Catholic Relief Services. Last week’s 2nd collection for the Bishop’s Appeal totaled $ 882.00. Next week’s 2nd collection will be for the Parish Development Fund. THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT! MAY GOD REWARD YOUR GENEROSITY.
