Text Box: Sunday Scripture

The Eucharist is the center of the Church's life. The source and summit of our faith, the Eucharist, is honored today in the solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ. Through the Eucharist, we see the culmination of God's action of sanctification. In it, we also have the ultimate gift we can receive in praise and thanksgiving for all He has done. In today's first reading, Melchizedek, who was both the king of Salem and a priest, offers a blessing, bread and wine to Abram. In the second reading, the faithful are reminded that they proclaim the death of the Lord when they eat and drink. Today's Gospel tells of Jesus feeding five thousand men with two fish and five loaves of bread.

This week’s second collection will be for the Building Fund .

Last week’s 2nd collection for the Assessments and Insurance totaled $ 739.00.

Next week’s 2nd collection will be for the Bishop’s Appeal.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!
