Text Box: MONTH OF JUNE Through the month of June, every day after the 8.00AM Holy Mass, we shall recite the Litany to the Sacred Heart followed by Benediction. PLEASE COME AND JOIN US. PLEASE PRAY LITANY OF THE SACRED HEART OF JESUS AT HOME IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO COME TO CHURCH. FATHERS DAY—This Sunday—June 15 & NOVENA OF HOLY MASSES FOR OUR FATHERS The Third Sunday of June is celebrated as “FATHERS’ DAY”. In our Parish Church, a NOVENA (nine) Holy Masses will be celebrated for the Intentions of our Fathers (living or dead). Our Fathers deserve our Honor, Love and Respect. We pray for them, during Holy Masses on June 15 at 8.30AM & 12.30PM; June 16 & 17 at 6.00PM; June 18 & 20 at 8.00AM; June 21 at 10.00AM & 5.00PM; June 22 at 10.30AM. A special Memorial Book for our Fathers, living or deceased, is placed in our Church in front of St. Joseph. A letter with information about the Novena of Holy Masses was sent to all our Parishioners by mail. Additional forms are also available in our Church. Please fill them and send them to the Parish Office. HOLY MASS INTENTIONS We still have empty spots for Holy Mass intentions at the second part of July. If you would like to have Holy Mass celebrated for your intentions, or for your loved ones, (living or dead), please contact the Parish Office. FIRST HOLY MASS of Father James MOORE O.P. Newly ordained priest Fr James MOORE O.P. will celebrate his First Holy Mass in our church today on Sunday, June 15th at 10.30am. After the Holy Mass he will give us a special blessing. Reception in the Parish Hall after the Holy Mass.

Sunday Scripture

 

                       God’s reconciling grace brings hope to the world. Jesus sent his Apostles to continue his work of preaching the Gospel. He sends us to witness to the Gospel, as well. We are to carry the message that all are called to follow Jesus, share the good news of salvation, and help bring those we encounter closer to the Father. Our message is one of love and hope for the world around us.

 

                    In the first reading, God names the Israelites as his Chosen People. In the Gospel, Jesus sent out the twelve Apostles to preach the message that the Kingdom of God is at hand. They are to preach to the people of Israel. Paul points out that Christ died to reconcile humankind to God.
