Dear Parishioners of St. Margaret Mary!
       In a time when retired old priests are perhaps considered a burden to the younger generation, and are, cf “sicut passeres solitarii in tecto” (Ps 101:5); “like sparrows all alone on the housetop”; when they are seldom remembered by their friends and their relatives, their hearts are invigorated when they receive a card, a telephone call, or a friendly visit.
       You dear parishioners of St. Margaret Mary’s, are an exception; thanks to the good Lord!
       Your beautiful cards, with good wishes and prayers, your telephone calls, the friendly visit of several people from St. Margaret Mary’s on the occasion of the 65th Anniversary of my priestly ordination, made my old heart beat with a great joy and with a heartfelt gratitude!
      I wish to express my sincere THANK YOU to you for your thoughtfulness in remembering me in such a lovely way!
      “Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.” (2 Co 1:2).

Sincerely yours in Christ!
Fr Vladimir Kozina

If to Communion you will go;
On nine First Fridays in a row;
With Christ in Heaven you will be;
And God forever you will see.

Text Box: Sunday Scripture

	A life lived in gratitude is a life of humility. To live a life of gratitude for what we have been given by God is a sign of our deep and humble adoration, such as the sinful woman displayed at the feet of Jesus. She gives us an example of the overflowing love that we are to show in our appreciation for God's love and forgiveness.
	In today's first reading, David acknowledges his sins, and Nathan tells him that God has forgiven him, but that there will still be consequences. In Galatians, Paul teaches that Christ's sacrifice is what saves us. In the Gospel, Jesus forgives a woman who expresses great love by washing his feet with her tears.
