Text Box: DON’T TAKE A VACATION FROM CHURCH AND GOD THE MONTH OF JULY DEDICATED TO THE PRECIOUS BLOOD During the month of July in our church, we recite the Litany to the Most Precious Blood after 8.00am daily Holy Masses. PLEASE PRAY WITH US THIS LITANY, OR PRIVATELY IN YOUR HOME BLESSING OF CARS. This weekend after Saturday, July 26, at the 5pm Holy Mass and tomorrow, Sunday, July 27, at the 8:30 & 10:30 Masses, cars will be blessed in front of the Church. GRANDPARENTS BLESSING On this weekend, Saturday, July 26, at 5:00PM & Sunday tomorrow, July 27, after the 8:30 & 10:30 Holy Masses, all grandparents will receive a special blessing after Holy Communion. Text Box: Sunday Scripture God’s Kingdom is worth any self-sacrifice. Our everyday choices bring us closer to, or farther from, attaining God’s Kingdom. Like those who found the buried treasure and the precious pearl., we should value God’s Kingdom so highly that we are willing to make great sacrifices for it. If we are willing to give our all, we are promised to get even more in return. Solomon makes a selfless choice for his kingdom and is granted the wisdom for which he asks. In our second reading, Paul assures us that all things work for good for those who dedicated themselves to God’s Kingdom. In the Gospel, Jesus uses several parables to give us an idea of the value of sacrificing all for the Kingdom of heaven.
