Text Box: Sunday Scripture
Godís Kingdom is worth any self-sacrifice. Our everyday choices bring us closer to, or farther from, attaining Godís Kingdom. Like those who found the buried treasure and the precious pearl., we should value Godís Kingdom so highly that we are willing to make great sacrifices for it. If we are willing to give our all, we are promised to get even more in return.

Solomon makes a selfless choice for his kingdom and is granted the wisdom for which he asks. In our second reading, Paul assures us that all things work for good for those who dedicated themselves to Godís Kingdom. In the Gospel, Jesus uses several parables to give us an idea of the value of sacrificing all for the Kingdom of heaven.
