NINERS
(The poem about Novena of First Fridays of the month, by Fr Don McDonnell):  If to Communion you will go;
                           For nine First Fridays in a row;
                          With Christ forever you will be;
                     And God forever you will see.
We encourage you to make once in your lifetime a Novena of 9 First Fridays of the month to help yourself to be prepared for the last moment of your life.

Text Box: Sunday Scripture

		We are to seek the treasures of God's Kingdom. God's Kingdom and its riches are what we long for as we search for meaning and fulfillment in our lives. As we open our hearts to Jesus and allow God's love to reign in our hearts we come to experience the blessings of peace, joy and fulfillment. Obtaining this pearl of great price is worth any effort or sacrifice.
		In the first reading, Solomon asks God for wisdom, and God is pleased. In the second reading, we are reminded that we are called by God to conform to the image of his Son. In the Gospel, Jesus uses parables to teach his listeners that the Kingdom and its riches are a great and precious treasure.
