Text Box: Sunday Scripture

Life is best when loving the Lord and living his Word wholeheartedly. Half-heartedness never brings the best results in anything. Living one's life with the wholehearted desire to love the Lord and live by both the Commandments and the precepts taught and lived by Christ, will bring a fulfillment in life far beyond one's dreams because it leads us on the path to salvation. In the first reading, Moses asks the Israelites to heed the voice of God and live out his laws. Paul reminds the Colossians of who Jesus is. In the Gospel Jesus uses a parable as an example of living one of the greatest Commandments by telling of the care the Samaritan gives to a complete stranger who is in need of help.

This week’s second collection will be for the Bishop’s Appeal.

Last week’s 2nd collection for the Building Fund totaled $ 889.22.

Next week’s 2nd collection will be for the Latin America/Catholic University.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!

MAY GOD REWARD YOUR GENEROSITY.
