Text Box: MONTH OF JULY DEDICATED
TO THE PRECIOUS BLOOD

The Precious Blood (feast of the Precious Blood; first Sunday of July). This devotion was propagated by Bl. Caspar Buffalo (d. at Rome, 28 Dec., 1837), founder of the Congregation of the Precious Blood of Jesus Christ.

Indulgences, for public devotion: seven years and seven quarantines each day; Plenary indulgence on any day in July or 1-8 August, after having assisted eight times at a public function under the usual conditions; if the devotion be held privately three hundred days each day with plenary indulgence on 31 July, or 1-8 of August (Pius IX, 4 June, 1850).

For this practice, any other month or any period of thirty days during the year may be chosen. During the month of July, we shall recite the Litany to the Most Precious Blood of Jesus in our church after daily Holy Masses.

PLEASE PRAY WITH US THE LITANY OF THE PRECIOUS BLOOD OF JESUS , OR
PRIVATELY IN YOUR HOME, IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO COME TO CHURCH.

Text Box: Sunday Scripture

The teachings and example of Jesus reveal the way to eternal life. The glory of God's plan of salvation is revealed in Christ. He became one of us and showed us how we are to live so that we might come to share eternal life with him in heaven. Through His death and Resurrection, our salvation has been won. Let us follow Jesus, now and always.
In Deuteronomy, Moses teaches that God's law is written in people's hearts. They only need to live it out. In Colossians, Paul proclaims that it is through Jesus that the world was created and redeemed. In Luke's Gospel, Jesus tells the parable of the Good Samaritan. Jesus teaches that loving one's neighbor means showing love for all people
