On Sunday, January 31, the First Holy Communion Children - Class of 2009 - of St. Margaret Mary will be presented with Candles. Pray also for their families and catechists.

THE DEVIL IS NOT SLEEPING
Roe v. Wade is the Supreme Court decision that legalized abortion in the United States 37 years ago. Since the Roe v. Wade decision, abortion has become one of the most divisive political issues in the United States.
As Catholics, as Christians, as anyone who is against the needless killing of innocent children, we must stand as one! For Catholics, the prayer of choice will be the rosary, with the intention of stopping FOCA.
Friday, January 22, was a day of PENANCE, FASTING & SACRIFICES for violation to the dignity of the human person.
On this Sunday, January 31, at 4:00 p.m., a Holy Mass will be celebrated for the conversion of all those who are against LIFE. This will be followed by the LIVING ROSARY and Benediction.
Today, on Sunday, January 31st, after the 4.00pm Mass and rosary, a potluck dinner will be held in the Fr Kozina Parish Hall. Please inform and invite others to come and to pray for the conversion of those who are against life. Please inform others and reserve this time.

Text Box: Sunday Scripture
God calls each of us to spread his message of love. We can never fully comprehend the ways of God. He calls people to ministry who seem to be unlikely candidates. Jeremiah was young, Paul was a vigorous opponent of the early Church, and even Jesus was rejected by many in his hometown. In Baptism, we, too, are called to ministry. We must heed that call and work to live it out.
Today we hear God call Jeremiah to be his prophet. God promises to make him strong against all who oppose him. Paul teaches us about God's greatest gift–the gift of love. In the Gospel, Jesus preaches in his home territory. He reminds his Jewish listeners that God has shown his power and mercy toward the Gentiles, as well as the Jews.
