CHRIST  IS  BORN  -  GLORIFY  HIM!

Text Box: LITURGY OF THE WORD Sunday Scripture
Christ has come for all the world, shining the light of his love on all.
The birth of Jesus has opened up salvation to all people of all nations. The Magi of the East were among the first wit-nesses to Christ, the world's Savior and true Light. Today, the privilege and responsibility of being witnesses is ours. We are to bring His light to the world.
Isaiah prophesies that the Lord's glory will shine upon Jerusalem and that people from afar will come to pay tribute. This prophecy is fulfilled by the birth of Jesus and, in part, by the visit of the Wise Men, as told in today's Gospel. In the second reading, Paul teaches that Jesus came to save all of humankind, Jew and Gentile, alike.
