Text Box: Sunday Scripture:

We are called to be authentic witnesses of God's love. It wasn't just God's chosen people or the early missionaries who were called to spread the message of God's love for his people. We, too, are called. By word and example we show whether or not we are to be trusted as honorable witnesses of God's holy truth. The message of God's love for his people is lived out in Jesus. Isaiah calls Israel to go beyond servanthood to being a light for the nations. Paul begins his letter by offering a prayer of grace and peace. In the Gospel, John the Baptist witnesses to the presence of the Lamb of God.

This week’s second collection will be for the Seminary Fund.  Last week’s second collection for the Bishop’s Appeal totaled $ 1,031.00. Next week’s second collection will be for Diocesan Insurance and Assessments.
