Text Box: Sunday Scripture

We each have a part to play in making peace a greater reality in the world. Today's Solemnity reminds us that Mary is the Mother of God, as she gave birth to Jesus, the Son of God and Prince of Peace. Mindful of this, let us renew our commitment to fostering peace in our homes, local communities and places of work. If we truly want a more peaceful world, we must each do our part.
The reading from Numbers recalls the priestly blessing which was to be used to bless the Israelites. The second reading reminds us that God sent His Son in the fullness of time to save us. The Gospel tells of the shepherds traveling to Bethlehem and finding the Child Jesus lying in a manger as the angel of the Lord had said.

Text Box: This week’s second collection will be for the Parish Development Fund. Last week’s 2nd collection for the Catholic Voice totaled $ 1,016.00. Next week’s 2nd collection will be for the Building Fund. THANK YOU FOR YOUR
