Text Box: Sunday Scripture:

God calls his people to forgiveness and mercy, which may often seem like foolishness in this world. In his life among us, and especially in his passion and death, Christ presents to us a radically different vision of life than the one the world calls us to embrace. But His Resurrection calls us to a life marked by forgiveness and mercy.
Today's first reading from Leviticus and the Gospel from Matthew starkly call us to the perfection of God in loving and forgiving not just those who already love us, but our enemies as well. This is the wisdom of God that Paul calls the Corinthians to embrace in today's second reading.

This week’s second collection will be for Diocesan Assessments and Insurance. Last week’s second collection for the Church in Eastern and Central Europe totaled $ 1,199.09. Next week’s second collection will be FOR THE Building Fund.

 THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!

MAY GOD REWARD YOUR GENEROSITY.
