Text Box: Sunday Scripture:

Choosing to follow God's commandments will bring us to eternal life. Heeding the rules of the road is not just a mere courtesy, in many instances it is a matter of life and death. Fortunately, most people choose to obey the important rules, both of the road and of society in general. In life there are many other opportunities to choose to obey or ignore the rules. With God's grace we can choose wisely. Today's reading from the Book of Sirach concerns itself with our free will. In the second reading, Paul instructs us on the role of the Holy Spirit as the revelation of God's plan of salvation. The Gospel tells us that Jesus came to fulfill the law and the prophets and shows us his knowledge of the Mosaic Law.

This week’s second collection will be for Church in Eastern and Central Europe.

Last week’s second collection for the Bishop’s Appeal totaled $ 2,526.00.

Next week’s second collection will be for Diocesan Assessments and Insurance.

 THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!

MAY GOD REWARD YOUR GENEROSITY.
