There are many opportunities for us to experience the goodness of God. We might find it in a pleasant moment or an unpleasant one. Whether we feel blessed with good things, or grateful for the strength to have made it through a tragedy or received help from others in a time of need, these are all opportunities to see the goodness of God. In the first reading, we hear about the Mosaic law concerning leprosy. This reading provides the background for our Gospel, in which Jesus heals a leper and tells him to follow the rule set down by Moses. In the second reading, Paul encourages Christ's followers to act always for the glory of God.
