Dear Parishioners, Benefactors & Friends of St. Margaret Mary Church! - Christ is born!!! - Glorify Him!

Christmas, among all the feasts, is unique and full of beautiful experiences. God comes to us, as a small innocent Child, bringing us peace and joy, which are so needed in the world today. Is God being born in our hearts as well? Do we find God in our hearts? Are we inviting Him into our souls? There will not be a lasting peace in the world if we don’t bring true peace into our hearts and souls.
We, your priests, would like to wish you all the best. May the Savior of the world, who comes to us, as a Child, give you all His graces: good health, happiness, prosperity, peace, and joy. Those graces can come only from God. May they help us to love God and neighbor forever.
During the Christmas Midnight Masses, and Christmas days, we will keep you in our prayers. We also ask for your prayers, so we can better serve you.
We wish you all the best in the coming new year, 2011. May God have you and your families in His care and grant you peace.

Text Box: Sunday Scripture
Christian families have an essential role to play within the life of the Church. Jesus chose to be born and to grow up within a family. His family, made up of his foster father Joseph, his mother Mary, and Himself, was marked by holiness, love and fidelity to God's will. Their example calls all Christian families to live in love and unity with God and one another, while working to further the work of the Church.
The first reading teaches that respect within the family yields blessings.
In Colossians, Paul lists such virtues as humility, forgiveness and thankfulness, which those who follow Christ are to nurture. He teaches about how the members of Christian families are to interact. Today's Gospel details the Holy Family's flight into Egypt and their return to Nazareth.
Text Box: Last week, the second collection for the Catholic Voice amounted to $ 658.00. This week, the 2nd collection is for the Parish Development Fund. Next week, (January 2, 2011, the 2nd collection will be for the Parish Building Fund.
