We are called to be children of God. What hope-filled news we hear today! The message of God's love, redemption and salvation that was sent to the Jewish people extends to the rest of the world. All who are willing to follow the path laid out by the Lord will join in the great feast in the eternal Kingdom. Together we will give glory and worship to God. The prophet Isaiah pictures a time when all the peoples of the world will worship the Lord together in Jerusalem. The Gospel reflects a similar theme, although the path to eternal happiness is not an easy one. Hebrews speaks of the discipline from God that can lead us to develop the virtues of peace and justice.

This week’s second collection will be for Diocesan Assessments and Insurance. Last week’s 2nd collection for the Mission Co-op Appeal totaled $4,007.00. Next week’s 2nd collection will be for the Building Fund.  THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!  MAY GOD REWARD YOUR GENEROSITY.
