The Mission Cooperative is an annual appeal by missionaries for spiritual and financial support. The Church’s missionary work continues here in our country and abroad, by proclamation the Gospel, helping poor people in various ways.
It is very important that we, who are blessed with so much, should help others, who have nothing. Sisters providing education for poor children, run a sewing and embroidery school to help young Text Box: women learn a trade, provide house construction and renovation for poor families living in the dirty streets, serve soup kitchens, aid for the elderly, assist poor families having children with disabilities, visit lepers and HIV patients regularly, and provide basic medical care at the St. Martin and St. Dominic Clinics. Text Box: Mass Survey
Since the motu proprio “Summorum Pontificum” went into effect last September, there has been a steadily increasing attendance at the Traditional Latin Mass at St. Margaret Mary. Most of this community attached to this Mass drives a considerable distance from all over the Bay Area to come every Sunday. Many are able to come only a few times a month. Regardless of your parish registration, it would be helpful for the Institute to have a complete demographic profile of our community. It would be greatly appreciated if all attendees would fill out a survey form available in the pews or at the back of the church. Registration at this parish is always an option; however, filling out this form carries no obligation to register at this parish or to receive additional mailings from us. Please drop off the form in the basket provided, or give it to Fr. Wiener.

With its more polished look and expanded content, the Institute's newly updated web page presents a more complete and accurate image of the Institute, especially for those many souls without direct contact with an apostolate.
The expanded site also includes, in one location, information about all of the Institute's American apostolates, including the Oratory of Our Mother of Perpetual Help. Please visit the web site:

The happiness of the elect in Heaven consists in seeing and loving God.  Our happiness here on earth must likewise consist in loving and seeing Our Lord, but not indeed face to face as the saints and angels do, but by means of the light of faith.  Thus we begin in this valley of tears, this earthly exile, the life of the blessed in Heaven, a life of endless joy in the fruition of the vision of God.
