YEAR OF THE PRIEST
Dear friends and fellow parishioners,
As many of you know, our Holy Father declared this the “Year of the Priest”. It would be good if we, the parishioners of St. Margaret Mary Church, could honor our own two priests, Father Stan Zak and Father Jean Marie Moreau. The patron saint of parish priests is St. John Vianney. Will you join with me and others and make a monetary donation in order to purchase a statue of St. John Vianney so we can add this statue to the other beautiful ones in our church? This statue can be a meaningful outward sign of the commemoration of the “Year of the Priest” that our church will always have. There is no set amount asked for of each family or individual. Let your heart be guided by the Holy Spirit to give what you can. If you are unable to donate monetarily, then please pray that the funds will be made available to purchase this gift.
When we finish our searching for the statue we will give you more details. Please wait for more information and look for envelopes in the pews. They can be dropped in the collection baskets or put in the special box labeled “St. John Vianney Statue donations” at the entrance to the church.
Thank you and God bless you for your kindness.
