Text Box: Sunday Scripture:
We, too, share in the Resurrection of Jesus. Death is not the end. God has power over death. The theme in all our readings today is resurrection. If we allow the Spirit of Christ to direct us, we will share in the Resurrection of Jesus. Faith calls us to allow the Spirit, which dwells in us, to move us to live in holiness, so that we may share in the eternal life Christ won for us. Ezekiel, writing to the Jews in exile, tells of a glorious future in which Israel will be established again under the rule of God. Paul tells the Romans that if the Spirit of God who raised Jesus from the dead lives in them, they, too, will be raised. In John's Gospel we hear that Jesus brings Lazarus back from the dead.

This week’s second collection will be for the Building Fund.
