Text Box: Sunday Scripture
Jesus enters Jerusalem in triumph to complete His work as our Messiah. Palm Sunday is a day of heights and depths. It echoes the high praise with which the people of Jerusalem welcomed Jesus Christ and plunges us into the agony and death of the King who reigned from a cross. United with Him in His suffering, may we one day also share in His Resurrection and new life.
Today's first reading tells of God's Servant who humbly speaks God's words, despite persecution. The second reading reveals Christ as the perfect model for all Christians. His attitude and actions call us to live lives of humility and obedience. The Gospel recounts the Passion and death of Jesus Christ.
